<< Previous Old habits die hard. And, so does love! When the process of transformation was on and the Wagtail was slowly turning into a male, the Red Male did not stop chasing it. The Red Male found it too difficult to understand why the Wagtail did not cooperate. However, the Red Male did not really want to give up on the chase. It wanted to achieve its goal at any cost. The chase was on. And, the Wagtail turned into a male! The Red Male either could not accept that change or it could not give up on its habit of chasing the Wagtail mistaken for a female.
After the Wagtail became a male, the Red Male did not stop chasing it. And, that resulted in frequent fights between the two males. Both of them fought equally hard. But, the Wagtail was bigger and more powerful. The Red Male was, somehow, reluctant to accept the fact that the Wagtail was not a female anymore! Out of habit or out of its reluctance to accept the fact, it kept chasing the Wagtail. It went on over a couple of weeks. And, eventually, the Red Male stopped chasing the Wagtail with ‘that’ intension in its mind. It was indeed a very interesting chapter in my aquarium and fish experience. And, that was not it. We were scheduled to come across more interesting events next. NEXT >> << Previous
